Native names of herbaceous plants?

I need the NATIVE name of sage, ground juniper, red willow, wild rose, and evening primrose. Whenever I search for the NATIVE name, I get the SCIENTIFIC name instead. Is there even a difference between the native name and scientific name? …because my biology teacher wants me to find the NATIVE names of those plants, and I’m checking everywhere and having a tremendously hard time.
