I remember hearing a story in a movie, “In a toast we smell the fragrance, see the color, feel the glass, and taste. The only senses left out is our hearing, and that is why we clink our glasses together.” Just about everything is made more potent by expressing it in many ways at the same time.
Energy Blessings on Many Levels
There are many ways we can express our intentions for joy, healing, blessings, and love. We can light a candle, lay out our crystals over a decorative cloth. We can light our sage wand and allow the smoke to reach our multi-level consciousness through its aroma. Add to this a clearly stated message, in words or in music, and you add yet another layer to the story.
Clear Intentions
Where do we begin? Do we ask for something that we do not have, and struggle with our doubts as we state our prayers? Or do we take the time to turn within and practice being within our own peace and harmony before we take the next step? One very powerful part of your “many level” blessing is to spend a few minutes acknowledging your own duality and accepting it, and then take it a step further and actually ask all parts of you to work together from their opposing directions toward this common goal.
Sight, Sound and Aroma
Our senses are great gifts for experience and expression in the body. Joining the senses with our thoughts, desires and prayers gives us a bridge within our body-spirit communication.
