Have you ever been to a Native American memorial service?

On of the most stirring memorials I ever attended for a deceased person was a Native American one.
There was a fabulous speech in their tradition about honoring the dead, and they "smudged" the circle with burning sage held in a shell.
It far surpassed the regular funerals I’ve attended.
